Day 1: Bagdogra to Gangtok
Pickup and a 5-hour drive to Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok sightseeing
An easy day at Rumtek, Banjhakri Falls and MG Marg while you adjust to the height.

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachen
A 6 to 7-hour drive north by Chungthang to Lachen.

Day 4: Gurudongmar Lake, then Lachung
A pre-dawn start for the lake, back to Lachen for lunch, then on to Lachung.

Day 5: Yumthang Valley and Zero Point
Zero Point in the morning, the Yumthang hot springs and meadows on the way back.

Drive back to Gangtok.

How much does the North Sikkim with Gurudongmar Lake, Lachen and Lachung tour cost?
From ₹22,500 per person, two sharing, best available hotels in the north, for 6 nights and 7 days starting and ending at Bagdogra Airport or NJP. The price depends on season, hotel category and group size.
Is Gurudongmar safe for children and older travellers?
The lake is at 5,430 m, where oxygen is thin. We do not advise it for infants, anyone with heart or lung conditions, or anyone unwell the night before. Lachung and Yumthang suit everyone.
Can foreigners visit Gurudongmar?
No. Gurudongmar is open to Indian citizens only. Foreign nationals can do the Lachung and Yumthang part of the trip.
How do I confirm the package?
Pay 20% of the package price as an advance to hold hotels and the car. You get a written itinerary and invoice on WhatsApp and email. The balance is paid to your driver at the end of the tour, in cash or by UPI.
